A) About Cows:

1. What are the  5 most common pathologies of cows? Mention them and give a little description too.

1.   Bovine Virus Diarrhea (BVD)
This is one of the most costly diseases for cattle producers. Signs may include scours, nasal discharge, coughing and fever. BVD can also cause infertility, abortion and birth defects. Type 2 BVD can cause haemorrhaging and death in susceptible young calves and adult cows.
2.   PI3 (Parainfluenza Type 3)
This common, mild respiratory disease suppresses the animal's immune system, allowing other diseases to develop. The virus is shed in nasal and eye secretions, and infects non-vaccinated animals through the mouth and nasal passages.

3.   IBR (Infectious Bovine Rhinotracheitis)

Also known as "Rednose", this highly contagious virus causes respiratory disease, abortions and infertility. Signs include inflamed nasal passages, fever, rapid breathing, deep cough and loss of appetite.
4.   Mastitis
Bovine mastitis is the persistent, inflammatory reaction of the udder tissue due to physical trauma or microorganisms infections. Mastitis, a potentially fatal mammary gland infection.

5.   Internal Parasites
These diseases are caused by internal helminths (roundworms, tapeworms and flukes) as well as external arthropods (mites, lice, ticks, and flies).  Parasitic diseases of cattle impair health, reproduction, growth, and productivity.  In severe cases, parasitic diseases may even cause death.

1. Look for  a good website that refers to horses. Copy its link. Explain why you like the website. (50 words)

I like this web site because; it represents very well the history of the Chilean horse. It is a very intelligent horse and pretty beautiful; also talks about anatomy, behaviour of them, etc.
I like too how this natural monument has been preserved because it has a
birth certificate control to register them.

2. Find a good image showing (with names) the animal's external anatomy.

3. Publish a good image of the horse's cardiovascular system (with names)

WHY DO YOU WANT TO BE A VET?

When I was a child, I wanted to be a superhero, I always wanted to have super powers like teleportation, control of the water, or be super fast. Also I wanted to be a pro soccer player and play with messi and cristiano ronaldo as we were friends . But finally I made the decision that I wanted to be a vet and it was pretty hard to make the decison because I was between veterinary medicine and engineer, but I chose veterinary medicine because my father is a vet and since I was born I have grown up with animals. Now I am studying in the University of Chile, Veterinary Medicine, in Santiago of Chile and I am so glad to do it, and my experience here it is been well so far I really like the farm and all the animal that they have.
When I get older I would like to work with my father and I would like to have own clinic and I would like to have a dog breeding with a lot of races and a horse farm with chilean horses.

my favorite thing is my cellphone:

I bought my phone in may of 2018, and I remember that I had to work a lot to bought it; I want it so bad because it is super multifuncional. the cellphones right now are not a thing that we used just to call, it has a lot of functions like GPS, camara (of high quality), social network, weather condicions, calendary, mail, books, music, calculator, movies, study, and other funcions.

At the first moment it was hard to used it, but after a week I knew how to used. Well now I use it every day and it is pretty useful. If one day I would not have my cellphone, it will be catastrophic but if everybody would not have a phone I belive that comunication betwen people could be better.

The beneficts of having a phone:
It helps to cut distance and keep in touch with people all around the world.
Low cost, some application are allow to call for free other accounts.
Because of its portability, we can locate people where they are immediately.
They have spread news and relevant facts worldwide.
